Missionaries can be miracles...
This week we received the news for transfers which is tomorrow. Elder Costa and I will stay together and Elder Wright stays as well. Elder Barros has almost 6 months in this area so he is getting transferred.

Sheila and Socrates are awesome. They were considering not getting married. We were able to teach them an awesome lesson and let them know transfers were this week. Shiela had a real fear we would both get transferred. I don't know why but I guess she just loves us so much! Lol ;).
On Sunday at church, Socrates got up and bore his testimony about how before the missionaries came to him his life sucked and he didn't believe in God. He also stated his life is even harder now than it was before, but because of us and the church he is happier. He is able to see the blessings in his life more easily. While he was bearing his testimony Sheila whispered to us that she said a super sincere prayer and promised God that if me and Elder Costa both stayed in the area they would get baptized this transfer. She has a crazy amount of faith.
I don't think I've ever told you guys but right before I came the missionaries found them. The quick story is Socrates didn't believe in God anymore and their family was falling apart. She saw this and was devastated. She began praying; as she said amen, the missionaries knocked on her door. She related to the missionaries her story and began crying. I think she has a direct pipeline to God because the answers to her prayers are always clear. Tonight they get their marriage certificate!
Augusto is on target to get baptized on the same day. He is doing well.
Alice is awesome. She came to church for the first time yesterday and we are going to try to get a baptismal date for her this week. She always asks a lot of questions and we really like the lessons with her.
Yes, that is a rat.

Yasmin and Julio are doing awesome as well. We are going to try and mark a baptism date with them this week.
And last but certainly not least; our ward mission leader has been reactivated through the missionary efforts. He is helping us so much more now and we appreciate it. It is such a blessing when the ward assists in the missionary efforts.
All you young men and Avery, if the missionaries ask you to go to a lesson....DO IT! Contribute a lot to the lessons. Its helps so much.
Well anyway, it was an awesome week. Apparently, Avery killed a deer, which I'm sorry but it is a little smaller than mine.
I love you guys
Btw, the Disney expanding wash clothes...Elder Costa thought they were hilarious.
