Yep, we were robbed and btw it's Christmas.
I was transferred to poços de caldas and the zone has a little bit of difficulty so hopefully I'll be able to help them out a bit. My companion is Elder Matias from pernumbuco and he has 1 year and 7 months on the mission. He is cool, we will have to talk a little more about obedience but i think it will be ok. We had our mission conference of Christmas which was cool.
One funny thing that happened is that we woke up today and the front door and the garage door were wide open and there was a bunch of stuff missing from the living room and there was mud on the floor. We got robbed, a backpack, a board game, headphones that were brand new and a guitar lol. We called president and they might move houses because this is the second time lol. But we are all ok.
A cool experience is that there is a guy in this area that has what Steve Hawking has about the muscles stopping to work and he is paralyzed, but he can move his tongue a little and his wife understands him. I felt the spirit really strongly when I was there so I went to the bathroom to ask God what that was and he basically said be ready and I was like ok then I'm ready. We were talking to them and he started asking about our faith and asked if my faith was perfect and I said that my faith was because I don't doubt that Christ lives and that through him all things can happen. He then asked if he could be healed and I said yes if his faith was strong enough and if it was Gods will, then he asked for a blessing and I gave him one and it said that if his faith was string enough he could be healed. Haven't seen him again since this so don't know what happened afterward. But another cool thing is that his wife said he never asks for blessings so that was cool.
