Alice in Wonderland
Well my week was pretty good, I went to Piracicaba for a leadership council Tuesday and Wednesday which was pretty good. The council was over Tuesday but we missed the bus so we ended up staying there another night, which kind of sucks because we missed 2 full days of work because the bus ride is like 4 hours. We slept on the secretaries floor. Oh well it was good, we got the stuff done that we needed too.
We were able to baptize Luciano this week and he chose me to baptize him even though I have only been here 2 weeks. I felt a little bad for my companion, but he got baptized and that is all that matters. The interview for his baptism was super funny he didn't really know if he wanted to be baptized and when we were talking to him the Zone leader Elder Grigio used an example from Alice in Wonderland saying that Alice got to a part in the road where there were two paths. She asked the cat which path she should take and the cat responds that depends on where you want to go.
I think Thursday was the day of my mission that I have been rejected the most. There was one particular woman that said she had bad experiences with us missionaries and then slammed the door in our face. So what did I do you may ask? I knocked on the door 3 more times and she didn't answer. So I wrote her a letter and put it in the mailbox lol. I was pretty upset that day, but the letter I wrote was nice and basically just told her to put the blame on the person and not the church; then I bore my testimony. Hopefully she will get another chance to receive the gospel but unless the Lord tells me to, I'm never going back to her house lol.
Everything is well with me and my companion I like him, but i will say he is one of the most stubborn people i have ever met and everything has to be done his way when he wants, pray for me not to kill him lol. :)
Glad all is going well with you guys, love you guys and have a great week.

He used that as an example and at the end of the interview, Luciano asked what happened to her. Elder Grigio was like, "What happened to who?" Luciano was like the girl in the movie. Elder Grigio couldn't remember and I had never watched that movie so Luciano said, alright then, if in the movie she ends up where she wanted to go; I will get baptized tomorrow, lol. We were like seriously you will put your salvation in a movie? He was like yup. So we googled what happened at the end of Alice and Wonderland; it just so happens it turns out that she gets where she wanted to go. Luciano was baptized the next day. That was crazy, but the baptism was awesome.
