General Conference and golden family with 10 minute left to curfew
We were able to bring 8 people to the general conference sessions, so that was really good. A lot of them had questions that they wanted answered and they all got answered. We also found a lot of people and were able to work a ton. Things are finally starting to go well in this area and me and my companion are catching on fire as they would say.
We now live in a house with 4 Americans which i have never seen before in the history of this mission but it is going well. Its really nice because everyone follows the rules and knows why they are here on the mission. It is now, me, Elder Sorenson, Elder Jones from Kansas and Elder Nielson from Utah who only has 2 months left in the mission.

The coolest part of our week was probably when a member that helps us a lot called and said that she needed our help, she said that she and her husband were having a really hard time and that the family was basically failing apart and that she didn't know what to do, so we said we would do a family home evening there on the same night and we did, and it was super spiritual.
She cried through the whole thing and we basically taught about eternal families and the restoration and covenants which was really cool. And we went back the next day to see how they were and they were already a little better. They both bore their testimonies about the family night in the sacrament meeting and basically told everyone that we are the best missionaries in the world lol. It made us feel good, our week was a little rough because my comp got food poisoning and with the leadership council we didn't work as much as we would have liked. It was a good experience.
We also found a new investigator named James. He was at church the other day taking one of the courses that we have there. We talked to him a bit and then showed him the church building while we were teaching the first lesson little by little and then when we got to the baptismal font we marked a baptismal date with him. That was a pretty cool experience. I have never done that before but it was pretty cool.
We had a really cool experience the other day. We had a goal at the beginning of the day to mark 2 baptismal dates and we honestly felt super strongly that we were going to do it. So we went to all of our appointments thinking that we would be able to mark baptismal dates. We went to the last appointment 100% sure that we would be able to commit them to baptism...the appointment fell through. We went to the plan B which also fell through.
We started making contacts at like 40 minutes before we had to be at our house. We were running out of time so we decided to say a pray and ask Heavenly Father if we actually should keep doing this or just go home because our curfew was in 10 minutes. We both very strongly felt that we should keep going so we just went crazy. We made like 15 more contacts in the road inviting everyone to baptism lol and we finally found a couple with a little son that were ready to receive the gospel and we marked baptismal dates with them without even teaching anything lol. We went back to teach this family and it was really awesome, there names are Gabriel and Ester. They are awesome.
